Air charterer plans to reduce the time and cost of repositioning aircraft with agreement covering its global fleet
London, United Kingdom, 9th June 2025: Chapman Freeborn has signed a new strategic partnership with Optimus Logistics Group to improve the speed of aircraft delivery and repositioning, drive down customer costs, and extend its global reach.
Working together, both will offer a comprehensive, fully integrated service to relocate aircraft swiftly and safely, streamlining a traditionally complex and expensive process.
“From permits to pilots, tracking to touchdown — our combined capabilities offer a superior service that is both dependable and economical,” said David Selby, Commercial Manager – Flight Support, Chapman Freeborn.
“After working with Optimus Logistics Group on an ad-hoc basis since 2021, I look forward to strengthening this relationship as Chapman Freeborn continues to extend its global reach.”
Founded in 2011, Optimus Logistics Group evolved from humble trucking origins to become a leading aircraft ferry provider, with Founder and President, Marshall Frantz, having handled over $50 billion in assets during his career spanning over 20 years.
“By combining our specialist ferry capabilities with Chapman Freeborn’s fifty plus years’ experience and global network of charterers, we’re creating a new standard for aircraft repositioning — more efficient, safer, and more value-driven than ever before,” said Marshall Frantz, President, Optimus Logistics Group.
“Making this partnership official means we can now offer that same smooth experience to even more clients around the world.”
This comes amidst a wider expansion of the air charterer’s capabilities with the restructure of its European cargo operations, appointment of a general sales and service agent in Eastern Europe, and establishment of a new European music and entertainment division.
